At our Spang & Brands Christmas party yesterday, the focus was not only on getting together, but we also took the opportunity to say THANK YOU and congratulate a very special person!
50 years as Managing Director at Spang & Brands! Half a century!
Our managing partner - Friedrich Echterdiek - has achieved just that this year!
As a young man, coming straight from university, my father took the direct route into his own family business at the age of 24! At that time still a packaging machine company based in Oberursel, he not only redefined the focus of the company in the years that followed - plastics technology for medicine - but also constantly promoted new technologies and opportunities.
Today, as a medium-sized family business with almost 200 employees and a clear focus on expertise, we are on a solid footing!
To this day, my father is a visionary, sceptic and entrepreneur through and through! A great role model!
Of course, a cake and a few words are not enough to honour his achievements and life's work!
