Fourth generation joins management team

Ricarda Echterdiek appointed managing director effective 1 July

Ms Ricarda Echterdiek has been actively involved in the business of Spang & Brands GmbH since January 2022. Prior to this, she gained extensive experience in corporate management, key account management and human resources management in various sales positions.

After 3.5 years as Head of Customer Relations, Ms Ricarda Echterdiek will become Managing Director on 1 July 2025 and will be responsible for the commercial aspects of the company in future.

Ms Ricarda Echterdiek represents the fourth generation of entrepreneurs in the family business. Spang & Brands has been family-run since its foundation in 1909.
